Returns Policy

Returning goods if you make a wrong purchase

We advice that you review your order carefully before prior to checkout, as it cannot be modified once submitted. If you make an incorrect choice, you can return any goods for within 14 days of receipt for a refund of those goods or exchange other goods with the same value or pay extra for the goods which cost more than the original returned goods. To qualify return an item under this Policy, Products must be in their original packaging with re-sellable conditions, along with all included accessories, and must not be damaged in any way by the customer during the time the item is in the customer's possession. It is the Customer’s responsibilities to ensure that returned items are returned safely. Customer is responsible to pay the cost of returning goods. We take no responsibility for Product lost in transit. If you want a refund, we will refund the monetary value of the goods returned to us at the price you purchased them and all refunds may take up to 10 business days to be processed. Other than in accordance with the 14 Days Money Back Guarantee, refunds are strictly limited to those available under clauses implied by statute.

Returning goods if they are faulty

UMTEC's goods may come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You may be entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You also may be entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If you think that there is fault with the goods you have received, please let us know straight away by contacting us. Please include as many details as possible about the order and the problem with the goods.

Returns generally

This section applies to the return of all goods, regardless of whether they are faulty or you change your mind.

You are responsible for the costs of returning goods to us. Any goods returned are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse. Please package your return goods properly to prevent any damage to the goods or boxes. We are not responsible for any goods that are returned to us in this error.

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.


We can ship to any physical address in Australia.

You may receive your order earlier than the time stated above but please note, sometimes there can also be unforeseen postal delays which are outside of our control. We ask that you please allow up to 14 working days for delivery before contacting us to request a refund or replacement order. 

UMTEC's will endeavor to supply all orders placed via this site. All products are listed for sale in good faith, but it is possible a supplier may notify us that an item is currently unavailable or no longer available. Upon receipt of this information from a supplier our online customer service team will contact you to let you know of the cancellation or delay of your order.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
